Kena Kai is a design-boutique that was born out of two distinct, yet connected desires. The first
was to offer fun, innovative and sometimes edgy items. The second goal was to introduce a new way
for people to 'give back' while shopping, with the hope that other e-commerce sites would follow
our lead.
The slogan Designed to Give™ sums up Kena Kai's aspirations. We donate 10% of every
purchase to worthwhile charitable causes - this is seamless and automatic. While
other sites may be aligned with one or two good causes - usually connected to select product - we
will eventually be aligned with hundreds of great causes and every product will contribute!
Our job is to design, and only if we design well will we be able to give. Most of the products on
these pages were created in an effort to either improve upon an existing product, or to introduce
an entirely new solution to an existing need. Other products though, are simply just fun - fun to
wear, fun to use, and just fun to have. Let's face it; we all need a little more fun in our lives!
If you are just visiting Kena Kai for the first time, we hope that you will take a minute to look
around and explore. In our infancy, our product line will be limited but this will expand quickly
over time and we urge you to sign up for our mailing list for future announcements and special
offers. We also hope that you will share Kena Kai with your friends. Together, we can make
'conscientious consumption' the new way to give back!
