This DataSafe® ID/Credential Holder uses an exclusive patent-pending design that is Government Certified to protect you against the rising threat of Identity Theft and Tracking.
This rugged Nappa Leather badge holder features our exclusive DataSafe® Technology that is certified to meet the Government's new FIPS-201 security standards as an "Electromagnetically Opaque Sleeve". This patent-pending technology uses multiple layers of radio-frequency (RF) shielding material to protect the data on the new generation of radio-frequency enabled IDs and credentials from being copied, or ‘skimmed’, and from being tracked.
This innovative design gives full (front and back) visual access to the ID through a clear front sleeve section while allowing the user to control when their card transmits and when it does not! With this design you no longer have to take your ID out of the protective sleeve every time your card needs to 'transmit', you simply separate the front clear panel from the rear panel that contains the DataSafe® material and your card will be able to transmit. This is done by simply placing a finger between the two sections and separating them. These two sections are held together by a low-frequency magnet and in this “safe” position your ID/credential cannot transmit.
This unique design uses the properties of our DataSafe Technology to disrupt the electromagnetic fields surrounding the ID/credential when in the “safe” position with the front and back panels together. Keep in mind that you are not only protecting the personal data on the ID/credential, but you are also protecting access to secure areas that contain even more confidential data!
